What storage devices does the PSP take

    Hi,

I've been trying to get concrete information on this all day but still no luck.

I'm trying to find out whether it's possible to hook up a PSP to a portable storage device (such as an iPod) and then be able to save movies and stuff on the ipod and allow the PSP to directly access the iPod as a hard-drive (or memory stick I suppose) so it can play movies, music and display pictures.

    Cheers for any help.

Memory Stick Duo's. I doubt it's possible to do such a thing with the iPod.

Theres probably not even a connection that connects PSP to iPod since it's the digital camera type of USB socket on the PSP and also, the PSP isn't made to recognise such things so it shouldn't do such a thing.

Would be a cool gimmick though if it did work, wouldn't have to bother buying a memory stick.

Yeah, that's the general concensus I've been getting, although one person said you could probably create a basic firmware set up that would make such a thing possible. I wouldn't be surprised if that sort of thing cropped up later on.
