Windows XP? There's something called ClearType which makes things a little blurry on CRT monitors. Is it a CRT or an LCD?

I got windows millenium edition...
and I do beleive this would qualify as being ancient...i have a select button on the monitor..it lights up three buttons at one time then to the right of that is like a round button with options on 4 sides..when you hit the select button then hit the button to the right depending on which light is lit up it controls different things, like brightness, I can make the page longer, shorter, wider, ect...I am nearly convinced at this moment this is were my problem ly I just caint figure which combination of buttons will fix thisLast edited by cella; 16-03-2005, 10:38.

If so have a look in the menu to see if you can find settings for "H-Convergence" and "V-Convergence". Try adjusting them one at a time until your picture becomes clear. In CRT monitos (like the one you have) these are usually the things that make the screen blurry if not set right.
If there is no on screen menu and you can't tell where to find H-Conv and V-Conv it will be a bit more guesswork, maybe try finding a manual for your monitor (online if you haven't kept it).
