Newest GC Action Replay

Planning to buy a GameCube Action Replay, but I know there are different versions - wanna make sure I get the newest. Anyone know what the newest is?

Might be safest to buy it from Datel admittedly they charge ?19.99 including delivery but you can guarantee it will be the latest version. The latest is now called an ARMax.

If you can see an Evo edition online though that is like to be the latest version (it comes with MaxDrive as well).

The Maxdrive lets you store homebrew DOL files on memory card right? Might be interested in that.

The AR Max Evo ships with either Max Drive or Max Drive Pro depending on the batch. If you order from Codejunkies by phone and ask for the pro version they will sort you out.

Only the pro version will let you run .dols.

I picked up an AR Max from Game today - ?9.98 (half price offer). How can I tell what version it is etc...?

Unfortunately the AR Max contains the non pro Max Drive. I almost picked that one up on offer from Game myself.

Is the only downside to that version the inability to run .dol files? (I can live with that)
