    GC and XBox RGB Scarts

Okay I always have bad luck when buying these things... I had to buy about 3 PS2 Scart leads before I found one that was truely RGB, dispite the fact that some were labelled as RGB =/

Not up for that again, so you guys know some cheap, proper RGB cables for these things? (UK machines)

EDIT - You guys rekon this one is RGB? http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...999884-2978831
I don't trust the fact that it's marked as RGB, there are 3 other GC Scarts on there marked as RGB, but are not...

I'm still using a RGB scart cable from my PS1 on my PS2.

Not sure about that one, but a good way to tell is usually to make sure the cables don't have a dodgy lineout box half way down the cable. If it's just a plain connector to proper scart plug connector then it's most likely real RGB as far as Xbox and PS2 go anyway.

I was under the impression that the only true RGB scart for PAL gamecube was the official one. I remember around launch time when there were countless leads that claimed to be RGB but clearly weren't, maybe it's changed now. Are the official ones still stupidly expensive?

I just always buy the official ones. Never had a problem. The PS2's official lead is ludicrously expensive (buy the Ixos one instead if you're spending that much), but the Cube and XBox ones seemed fairly reasonable.

Well the thing is, the official lead is 22 quid, compared to 2 or 3 quid for third party ones.
