    US PSP Game Packaging

Are they they going with the usual DVD-boxed style packaging most use, or swanky mini-ones like the Japanese boxes. More out of interest than any real need to know.

Pretty sure they'll be selling them in smaller cases

On a related note, I may well pick up a PSP when I'm in the US next month. Any idea what sort of shop(s) would be best to get a bigger memory stick from (or should I just wait and order one online)?

There is a huge rush on memory sticks right now (unsurprisingly). Since you're going to be forced to buy a Value Pack anyway, you'll get a 32mb to start you off. I'd be half-inclined to put up with that until things settle a bit...

Pretty much what I thought someone would answer...

Do I need anything special (having not actually had one in my hand) to get information off a Sony memory stick onto PC so I can put it on a different one?

(and by "special", I mean outside of a card reader or USB port)

Nope. Forget a card reader too, easiest way is to hook the PSP up to a USB port and it'll show as a removable drive.

This guy on gamefaqs (omg wft!!!!11111) has posted some pics of the gretzky case. Looks the same as the Japanese cases to me.

I was in gamefoucs in london today and they have copies of the Sony Major League Soccer game and the Sony ice-hockey one(can't remember its exact name)

Anyway, both were in exact the same boxes as the JPN releases so no annoyingly over-the-top big cases to contend with

Ang?l21, the hockey game is Gretzky.... Did you get chance to see the MLS game running? How was it?

Afraid not - just popped in quickly on the off chance they had any copies of wipeout pure but apparently none until next week.

The screenshots on the back on the MLS game didn't look very good though compared to the ones released by EA for fifa(but judging how the console version plays I'm not sure how good that will be!) - to be honest I just wish a winning eleven game would come out soon

Apparently both the MLS and Gretzky had just come in today so the shop owners hadn't had a chance to play them yet.

How much are 1GB ones? Are they worth getting and availability?

I paid about ?90 for my 1GB, they're only worth getting if you wanna cram your PSP with movies I guess. I stuck a Garden State, couple of episodes of Scrubs, few movie trailers and a few albums with space leftover.

Essentially if I get a 1GB card its like having one of those iPod Shuffles in your PSP. Pretty impressive I must say.
