simple question guys how the **** do i change the dictionary to uk english instead of u.s? its driving me nuts!

in word go to tool, options, file and grammar tab, you'l then see a section called dictionaries, click on the dictionaries button and select english uk in the language box. i think you can add different ones and select them in there

thats in word 2000, might be different for xp, 2003 versions etc

Alternatively, it may say "English US" down the bottom. Double click, select UK, default it, etc.

That's certainly another ****ing way to do it

what wod said. you may also want to press Ctrl+A before doing that - that will select the entire document and override any foreign language parts of a doc.
