i dont have any except for the antivirus, as it slows down my pc if there too much open at once

Looks like most of the offices i've visited in the past. As for me only 1 (A/V) on the notification area and 7 (show desktop, Firefox, Paintshop Pro, Remote Desktops, Outlook, Router Tools and VMWare) on the quick launch.

Thats a tiny ammount, in my work i see more than that on a almost daily basis. 2 and 3 rows are not uncommon

i just make a folder named the side you want it on ie: rhttaskbar, then click on bottom taskbar to make new taskbar and point to that folder then drag it over reshape it and take off namedfolder and taskbar name to get size right
