Lumines US Version

Hi does anyone knoe if the US copy of Lumines has had the save after sleep fixed or is it still the same as the JAP version. Thanks for your help

Interesting question. Actually is there a topic for the differences in the US version PSP games? I'm curious if Lumines also has added skins and what extra is in Ridge Racer...

nothing to fix there actually, there's no bug. if you read the message that pops up when returning to the menu after the game ends then you know that you should press X instead of O to have your score and skins saved. the only problem is that the message is in Japanese.



don't know about any new skins in the US version, nor about the rumored possibility to continue after you screw up... but i do know that the transitions between songs are smoother in the US version. when you go to a next skin in the JP version there's a few seconds of silence before the new song and skin appear, in the US version they rearranged the info on the UMD or something so that it doesn't have to search for the next song. i hope they also did something about the load times in puzzle mode. when you fail you can't select retry, so the game goes loading the selection screen and throws the puzzle stage out of the RAM, and then when you select the same stage again for a retry it goes loading the info that it just threw out all over again. lame design flaw which really shows that they were in a hurry to release it. awesome game otherwise though.



Ridge Racers had a "max tour" added to the tour-mode. don't know what that is though, i've got JP versions of both games and haven't seen a US version yet.
