    Hi,
Recently learned some of the newer PS2 have framerate correction, or some form of running NTSC psx/ps2 games on a chipped PAL machine at full speed with no framerat issues, wondered if anyone could confirm this???

I had an old modded UK PAL Ps2 and ran my us games juddery, i hear with the newwe chips this is correctd???

I have a new mod chip in my ps2...it's called a Ghost 2 and it is absolutly amazing. plays any ps1/ps2 game i put in it including dvd-9/dual layer , DVD is multi region. no glitchness or anything...always outputs ntsc when using an ntsc game. Generally great

don't know about back-ups of course cuz i ain't no thief.

My DMS4 Pro runs them fine too.

Can't think why the hell your old mod would run them so bad actually, unless it was running them in PAL mode.

Seriously, what chip did your old machine have as whatever you were experiencing was not common at all. I have 2 chipped machines a more recent silver one with an Infinity mod I believe it is called and a machine I got 'back in the day' (2002) with the 'classic' Messiah modchip. Both run NTSC games perfectly.

I've got one with a magic 3 chip and one with a DMS3 chip and I've never had any problems.
