Integrated Graphics card vs Ati Radeon!

Buying some PCs for business use and am after some opinions on whether you think it's going to make any difference if I buy an ATI Radeon X300SE instead of the integrated Intel videocard.

    ?60 difference...

    Thoughts?

      business use.

outlook, word, excel, powerpoint, internet access...

certainly not any games or anything thing that graphically intensive... maybe some multimedia presentation CDs at most...

There will be no need for the X300 for just that.

No difference. Anyway an ATI X300SE Retail can be had new for ?41 + postage, and a non-SE X300 (better) for ?46.

So I stick with an integrated solution.

Although, it may be worth it perhaps possibly for a couple of reasons.

using tfts? your intergrated graphics wont offer dvi output for super-shiny-pin-sharp-digitaly-flavoured-sexyness.

also its way quicker to swap out a defective graphics card than a whole defective motherboard. And you'd still have the intergrated graphics as a backup.

              Cheers for the comments.

I'm in favour of saving dosh and going for the integrated graphics card, but am using TFT monitors, so I suppose the DVI output might be worth it...

Office TFT screens would proabably only have VGA inputs and wouldn't benefit from DVI.

yeah, I'm just making sure you know all the pro's and cons here, I probably still would stick with intergrated.
