Running SplinterCell Chaos Theory from the HD

OK so I buy SplinterCell Chaos Theory today and the thing hangs at the EXACT SAME SPOT in the opening movie when I try to play single player. Personally I don't care about the opening movie but you can't skip it! Thanks Ubi!

It works fine in the shop and my machine is a modded system with a lousy Thompson DVD ROM in it.

So I'm gonna copy it to HD and see if I have more luck, I've disconnected network cables etc so it doesn't connect to Live but I was wondering it it does anything else sneaky to detect a modded Xbox?

Has anyone done it and got it to work ok?

download someones game save, this way u can actualy skip the intro

Gah, I took a chance with Live banning and copied it over to the HD and it did the trick

Then I go back to running it from the CD and check if it crashes again and it's fine....

Fecking technology!
