My final DS questions

Ok, after playting Wario Ware for a while in Toys R Us yesterday I have some final questions before I get it for my birthday

1) How are your screens holding up? The one in Toys R Us didn't seem very responsive.

2) How much pressure needs be applied to the screen? I find myself pushing on it quite hard and that can't be good for it can it?

3) Is the stylus that comes with it good quality or is it worth getting a better one?

4) Are these screen protectors REALLY that good?

5) What carry case is recommended?

6) How does the demo of Wario Ware compare to the full game mode wise?

7) Does anyone know of anywhere doing the DS, Metroid Demo, a game PLUS carry case for ?100?

8 ) Would it be safe to take on holiday in your case? or hand luggage?

1) my screens are fine - you will find that chavs and neds have probably abused the one at toys r us

2) not that much pressure is required - i've had mine since the us launch and the screen is in pretty good nick

3) yeah its pretty good but i managed to pick up one of those e3 special editions which are nice (they glow)

4) the hori ones are pretty good and they do protect your screen

6) the demo is just warios first level there are plenty more mini games from loads of other characters - 190 minigames in all

7) Gamestation are doing it for ?109 with a starter pack and a game (sprung or zoo keeper) and th started pack has a wee case as well as a few stylus, screen protector and a wee shammy

8 ) Yeah is a sturdy piece of kit

1) My screen is fine only one or two light scratches from picto chat.

2) Not much presure at all its very responceive except for a small blind spot on the top corneres on my ds.

3) the stylus is pretty good you could get the extendible one.

4) I havent used the screen protectors at all so i wouldn't know.

5) Wouldn't know i'm using my orniginal game boy cary case.

6) The demo is good but the game is the mad ****.

7) Can't help you there i'm in ireland.

8 ) Its safe to take anywhere i can't tell you the amount of times i've dropped my one.

Has anyone else got any tips on the carry cases?

But I'm not sure if it has room for games and accessories!

And can I plug normal headphones into it? I keep hearing something about an adaptor?

Normal headphones work fine on the DS. My touchscreen has a blindspot on the top right corner too. It's a pain in the ass trying to click the little x to exit pictochat!

im pritty sure the next issue of Official Nintendo Magazine is having a free good looking DS carry case with it, this months has a ds/gba game case worthing picking up too.

screen protectors are great you dont even know they are on the DS

Kind of except there doesn't really seem to be a guide on the brand of protectors to NOT use as they stop the screen working.

Charles, you mention the one I am looking at - But did it turn out ok? Does it have room for the AC?

doesn't look like it has room for the AC (my DS hasnt arrived yet).
The pouch turned up in 7 days.
the DS has alreayd been a week and a half.
