    Japanese PS2 Help

I have a Japanese NTSC PS2 but it doesn't have the power supply cable. What would I need to buy? Do I need a step-down converter? Any help is appreciated.

You'll need a JP/US power lead like this:

And a stepdown convertor to plug it into.

Thanks Kubrick, where's the cheapest place to get one from?
I already have a stepdown converter.

Do I need to worry about the Scart cable, would I need a converter for that too? Will the NTSC games work on a UK TV?

As long as you've got a fairly recent NTSC-1 compatible TV then, yep, should be fine. If your TV isn't NTSC compatible then no cable will change it.

You have to go pretty far back with cheap TVs to find one that doesn't work with NTSC now - if you have RGB scart at all it's virtually guaranteed.

As for stepdowns, don't use one of the little ones for smaller/older consoles - mine came with one, and it almost caught fire, quite aside from the PS2 crashing all the time.

Thanks for your help, my TV is probably compatible with NTSC as it was bought two years ago.
