panasonic q rgb dvd playback

just wondering if the panasonic q is capable of rgb dvd playback?


i know there is a modded rgb cable you can, get but does this display the dvd's too?

I'm afraid the Q isn't capable of RGB output on DVD's. The best it will do is S Video.

I bought a modded RGB cable from dave123 eons ago for my Q and managed to play GC games and watch DVD's through it without the need of an S-Video cable at all.

Although you will find that your DVDs are outputting in composite, which is a bit rubbish, so you might want to consider an s-video cable if you are using your Q for DVDs.
