            I think Kirby and 1080 support 8 players (atleast). Mario Kart is 16
            Kirby supports 4 players max
            1080 supports 4 players max
            MarioKart supports 8 players max

                It's alright, though seems to need a lot of upstream. I remember playing it back when I used to have 128kbit upstream, and it was 'playable'. You kinda put up with it because playing MKDD online was just so much fun. I am told 1080 ran better though.

                I really should try it again now I have 384kbps upstream.
