Xbox save games (again)

Hiya, read through the previous threads on the possibilities of copying save games from one box to another, and have seen that only certain games will allow you to copy to memory card.

Was just wondering how you tell. Is it a case of if "memory card" isn't ticked on the back of the box you can't copy them? Or is it that you can copy them, but you can't save direct to them?

Does anyone have a list of games that do/don't support the memory card?

Games I'm particularly looking at moving are:

Deus Ex: Invisible War
Halo 1/2
Outrun 2
Burnout 3 <----not *too* bothered about this one, hadn't got too far anyway.....

Anyone have any idea if the above games can be coaxed into letting you copy the save games to memory card and then to another xbox?

most games do support memory card transfer, its just the odd ones that won't let you copy it, like burnout 3, PGR2, tiger woods.

I just used to look by booting Xbox with no disc in, browse the saves and see if "copy to memory card" ? (or whatever it says, been a long time now) is highlighted, if not I think you could be stumped.
There may be a list posted on gamefaqs somewhere.

Halo 1 copies OK. I have used a memory card to transfer it to another Xbox. I presume that Halo 2 ought to be OK as well. I just checked the saves at Codejunkies and they include Deus Ex: Invisible War, Halo, Halo 2 and Outrun 2 so I would assume that those can be copied (after all that is what the Xbox Action Replay does... copies saves to a memory card).

Have you got a memory card that you have tried to copy to?

Yeah, got a MC and wasn't having much fun with it last night. However, this morning I've learned of the wonderful piece of user interface design which means that you have to press right to get to the copy option.

Would an action replay let me copy saves that normally won't?
