My internet is causing my lots of problems for a few minute it works ok then no websites are accessable and no progeam can acess the internet works, even though the connection is still there i have scanned my pc with ad aware, spybot and avast but nothing has come up. So i have no idea what is happening.

When it happened to me it turned out to be BT/Pipex performing upgardes on the line. Could connect to web sites one minute and not the next. The modem also displayed as being connected ok all the time.Comment

you dont have one of those frog adsl modems do you, as they seem to use to much power through the usb and those with via motherboard they dont seem to work properly well oldish onesComment

I had a virus that was doing that, it wasn't being scanned by 2 different programs but it was causing that to happen.Comment
