Yes Asia first time order

Hope anyone can calm my nerves here.

I placed my first order with Yes Asia on Wednesday 6 April for Electro Plankton & paid by credit card. I had an email this morning advising me that the delivery date was now estimated to be 27 April & I checked with my Bank & my credit card has been debited the sum of ?24.13 this morning.

Yet when I check my order history at YesAsia there's no record of my order. Is this usual ?

Are you sure you've been charged & the money hasn't just been reserved against your card? Yesasia normally charge on despatch.

I spoke to my Bank & they told me it was 'pending', which usually means it'll be on my credit card account within a few days.

Although this sort of thing happened a few months ago with a strange ?1 debit by Paypal, which turned out to be them checking my new credit card details which I'd supplied them with. This mysterious ?1 then disappeared from my account. Confusing...

I wonder if Yesasia have just put through a reserve transaction as it's your first order with them - it won't take the money, but will check that the credit is there in the first place.

Could be. What's also strange is if I view my order via the confirmation email, Electro Plankton shows up. If I just visit the site & then login, it's not there.

No worries man.

With regards to your order history - make sure you've selected the UK site preference on the homepage (drop down box at the bottom of the screen) then try logging in. I just tried changing that preference to another country, then logging in & none of my previous order history shows up.

Just changed to UK site preference & BINGO !, my order's appeared.

Do I feel stupid or do I feel incredibly stupid ?

I've had that happen many a time, it's not exactly clear on the website either to be honest.
