Xbox Joysticks.

I am thinking of treating myself to a decent joystick for my Xbox come payday in a couple of weeks.
Does anyone have this one?

It looks funky but I don't want spend all that money on something which isn't sturdy and reliable.
I will be using it mainly for Mame but will be looking to invest in some decent beat 'em action in the near future.
Advice please!

I'm getting Saturn arcade stick converted for Xbox from lik-sang as an exchange for my payback point...
I always like that Saturn arcade stick so I'm sure I won't be disappointed with it...

IIRC on shoryken (home of many people rather serious about their joysticks), that SFII stick was panned for being the cheap bit of Nuby US rubbish that most people sadly expected it would turn out to be, I'd avoid it.

i've got one of those that dj's talking about (but it's a regular saturn-made one with the circuit from an xbox stick inside, just rewired).
it's quite nice but, personally, i'm not too hot for the actual joystick bit. the 8-buttons are well-placed, though, and as a result you can play your neogeo games with the right layout. the one i have has had a 'back' button added to the side, which helps with the IGR and stuff. also, what's good is a few of the emulators (like final burn) have button layouts for the X-Arcade. using these means you can access the menus with button combos instead of clicking the right analogue stick

the soul calibur 2 stick (ps2) is really good too, but only has 6 buttons, and obviously you'd need a magicbox for it to work! but the stick on it is much much nicer than the saturn one imo (it's lighter and less clunky), it's kinda like the stick for the dreamcast arcade stick
