Media Player 10 playing backwards, advice please

I've just had a request for help with Media Player 10 from a friend, and the problem is a strange one to say the least.

He claims that the timer on the right for MP10 is moving in reverse, while the music he's listening to, and the bar at the bottom, move forwards.

I've never heard of this problem before, so I have no idea what to suggest to him.

Can anyone here help?

If you click on the timer, it changes between time elapsed and time left.

lol, that's what I thought he meant when he first asked me if I knew what was wrong with it.

We both find it amusing now, how simple a problem, and solution, it was.

We also feel a bit stupid for not being able to figure it out. Oh well, at least we'll know for next time.
