Kind of. Its a little box you plug into the wall for power. And connect to an amp with normal leads. Its a wireless network device. You give each one you have a name like "Living Room speakers", "bedroom" etc.
Then when you turn on your laptop (it works on PCs too apparently but I've only tried it on my PowerBook) iTunes sees all these gadgets on the network and you get a list of speakers to choose to playback through.
Its superb. Neat, elegant, simple, and small.

There was a decent length feature about Tiger on BBC News 24's Click Online tonight. (repeated tomorrow afternoon, and can also be grabbed from the BBC website)
The presenter Steven Cole was pretty hard on some Apple guy he interviewed though. Said Tiger was little more than window dressing and that it's big innovations - Spotlight and Widgets, had been available in similar forms on the PC for over a year! Apple guy looked a little flustered. Still there was plenty of eye candy on show and the Apple Centre in London looks the part.
Quite tempted to buy a Mac, no idea what for as my PC does everything I need, but sometimes you just have to give in to desire and buy something just because you want it. Just need some ???...

Right, what's the problem with the iMac G5 that I'm not seeing?.
I've spent quite a while today comparing the relative specs of the machines, and the ?1,000 G5 iMac with the 2G processor and 128mb graphics card seems stupidly good value compared to the rest of the Mac line up.
The only real issue would be the memory, but that's something that effects the entire lineup of all Macs. Plus ?160 buys you 2GB of memory that sorts that issue. Even games like Doom 3 have recommended system specs found on the machine.
So, have Apple lost their marbles and made something that's actually a good deal, or is there some hidden limitation that I'm not seeing.
Because if there isn't, it's only sentimentality to my old G3 iMac that's stopping me from getting that 2G G5 iMac.

However, I think ?700 for a 12" iBook is bloody fantastic value for money at the mo'!
