Is Winning Eleven 6 for GameCube definately NOT U.S. bound?

You're right... as far as we know Sony have an exclusivity deal at the moment. That said, in the 'Next Month' section of NGC magazine they do infact list Pro Evolution Soccer as a featured news item. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Thats incorrect. They did infact release ESPN MLS Extratime 2002 on the cube in the US last year... not a bad game as it turned out. It was basically a GC version of ISS Pro Evolution 2 on the PSOne with the MLS license. It certainly did the job until I imported WE6FE a few weeks ago.

Ah okay... I had wondered if that was Konami or not...

That's still a gap of over 4 years though...
