Another scart switch question

Most people here recommend the 3 port switch from argos (http://ntsc-uk.domino.org/showthread.php?t=13046). Though it would be interesting to hear some feedback on those powered remote switches.

that one after being sick to the back teeth of climbing round the back of the TV to change scart leads.

Going to set it all up this week so will post impressions of how good it is.

Going to plug a PAL Xbox,Cube and PS2 into it as well as my SKY+ box so will tell you it all pans out.

Might even try my US machines as well.

Any word yet? I'm considering buying either the 1 or 2 model for connecting various things up to.

I'd be particularly interested in whether the 2 works well with sync only on pin 20 (i.e. not the entire composite + sync signal) as according to some threads here the 1 wasnt so happy like that and I'm after hooking up my supergun through whatever I get.

i'm thinking of getting one of these but i'm also deciding on wether to buy myself a plasma screen
