Naruto 3 GC freeloader compatibility question

Does this game work with Freeloader? Or to put it another way, is there any version of Freeloader that has problems running this game? Also is there anything I should be aware of with regards to game saves being wiped? (I recall this happening with one or two games but can't remember which ones)

I think I have the latest version of Freeloader(which is 1.6b IIRC).

Both versions run the game fine

I know a mate that has it and it works and saves on both versions of the freeloader.
