Snes Converter?

does anyone know where i can get one that allows me to play usa and jap on my pal snes?

of course recommendations aswell, i want it to preety much play everything. i know they can't play super mario rpg though *sniff. i want one that can play chrono trigger really.

I've got one made by Fire. No particular name as far as I can see - the box just says 'SNES Game Converter'.

It plays Chrono Trigger absolutely fine. The only problem I've had is the fact that it can't play most of the ending movie for Final Fantasy 3 (US version) which is apparently a well known problem with it; I seem to recall it was mentioned in Super Play way back when.

EDIT: there's one currently going on ebay - do a search for 'fire snes converter' to find it.

I'm pretty sure that most Snes converters will run the same Snes games. Basically most late releases or carts with region protection will not run on any converter. Either a modded console or US Snes would probably be best.
