    Cleaning laptop screens

My iBook screen has got some finger prints on it and I want to clean it without making a mess. Any recommended cleaning solutions and how do do it correctly - I don't want to apply too much pressure as it feels like I could do permanent damage!

I tried a Vidimax screen cleaner at a recent camera show and was impressed. They told me it would be released soon in the uk, not seen it yet though

The vidimax uses a special carbon block to clean, if you've ever used the lenspen (made by the same people) you'd realise how good they are. I use the lens pen on my camera lens and have had no problems.

I just use spectacle wipes. It works like a charm.

I wouldn't worry too much about applying pressure. We had an old laptop that was buggered anyway and did some pressure tests...suffice tosay the screens aren't easy to damage like they used to be.
