Going online with DC for the first time tonight - how ?

(Searched but couldn't find a recentish topic here)

Not a clue what's needed/how to do it tbh, even ventured over to the Gamefaqs DC Hardware forum for info eek.
Got my DC and now a phone lead and that's it, guess I need a browser disc etc, not yet had chance to try any games online (MSR etc), is it all simple enough and are there any offical Sega servers still up ?
Last question for now, does the BroadBand adaptor work on a PAL DC ?

All help/upto date links appreciated, thanks.

Very few ofiicial servers still up now, I think the last to go was Eur PSO v2 (or are they still up?). Check here for a recent-ish list:

Your primary source for online gaming on the Dreamcast, GameCube, or Playstation 2.

The BBA will work on a PAL Dreamcast, but only PSO v2 will work with it (something very few people seem to know). That meant completely free console online PSO - w00t.

For using the modem you will need the DC v3.0 browser disk which came with... PSO v2 in order to set the ISP details. Aternatively you could search for something called 'XDP Dreams' which is a translated hack of the Japanese v3.0 browser, with BBA support and lots of DC downloads stored within the disk image.
