Does this have an english language option,like DMC 3?

It doesn't, but it's 95% English anyway (all Menus, speech etc). Only the subtitles are Japanese.

Its dirt cheap on Japanpa. Is it really that bad?

I've only played it a little, so I've no idea *why* everyone hates it. Seems a good game from what I've seen, definitely worth a tenner.
