mcafee + thunderbird = mess.

when posting emails from my thunderbird account, mcafee pops up with a 'protocol error'... the help util says it's because the server has rejected the email, anyone know why this is?

Has it always done this for you?

I've been using the McAfee security stuff (anti-virus & firewall) and Thunderbird for ages without a problem.
