    Black And White Possible?

Hello. I am very sorry if this has been covered before, but I have checked FAQ link and could not find it. Also, English is not my first language, so I may have misunderstood something.

I am wondering, do I actually need an RGB scart connection to play consoles imported, or do they just make it from black and white to colour? Also, what is meant by modern? How modern, I mean?

    Many thanks.

You'll need an RGB SCART cable if your TV doesn't support NTSC natively. Most modern TVs will, by modern I mean TVs made within the last 5-10 years.

rgb is also a high quality signal, which is another reason people use it.

look up your tv online; google the make & model. if it can decode ntsc & ntsc 4.43 you don't need to worry about it.

Do you mean most TV's in America or most TV's everywhere?

Thank you very much for your help.

          No worries

All TVs in America support NTSC as it's their native signal, only old European TVs sometimes have problems with it. So any TV, yes.

Thank you greatly! I am sorry but I have one more question, and I did not want to make a new thread and clutter things up. My question is, if I get a slimline imported ps2, will it have a different watt rating from a normal size ps2?
