    Running software without the Disc

I have just grabbed myself a copy of Matlab Student Version for ?50 (Sweet deal) The problem i have is that I have to have the disc present to run the software which I think is a pain. I have tried Alcohol 52% and am not having any luck tricking the sofware into thinking that the CD is present.

    Anyone have any advice?

try daemon tools, it'll mount the cd as a virtual loopback ISO filesystem, meaning basically it'll trick the OS into thinking the cd is in the drive.
