xbox multi player via multiple screens

i know this is probably a dumb question but is there any way to play games like timesplitters 2/3 and halo on multiple screens via link up using one machine/game, or do you need to have 4 machines to do this?

Four player LAN games will require 4 TVs, 4 xboxes and 4 disks*.

*Unless you have a chipped xbox and install the games on the HDD

I've played alot of Halo via system link, it's great fun for those without broadband.

I'm eager to know what Outrun 2 is like played this way, anyone done it?

Outrun 2 is not much fun system link tbh.

There isn't any traffic on the road except the players cars and the collision detection between them is shocking. Every time your cars touch, your opponents car will jump around the screen (looking like some really bad lag) and then appear a fair distance either in front or behind of you.

Also the timer is pretty strict so you can't mess about, you have to race or you run out of time.

Other than that though it's fine, and voice comms too.

Why is voice comms useful on system link, then? Surely you're sitting practically next to each other already?

Anyway, to answer the question, there's no way for one XBox to drive multiple TVs with different pictures, so it's no surprise you need a machine per TV. At which point, you also need a disc per machine, too.

i thought as much, this whole system link is pretty much pointless for some people for the obvious reasons - they don't have 4 tv's/xbox/game! i wonder if 360 if provide what i'm looking for?

It's great if you do have the equipment, though, and the alternative (squeezing everyone's data out via a broadband router and right back in again to use XBox Live) is just silly.
