[PC] De-activating laptop mouse pad (?)

That really sensetive mouse pad (not the nipple) that when I 'glance' with my sleeve, then makes my 'normal' mouse inactive for 10-15s ft:

    Can I deactivate it?

You should be able to disable it in the bios settings.

BIOS settings are accessed when you boot up, usually accessed by pressing DEL or F10 or F1 before the windows boot strap kicks in.

Somewhere in the BIOS there will be an option to turn it off. If you're unsure about getting to the BIOS settings in the first place, I'd be careful, you can end up changing settings that'll stop the machine from booting properly. Make a note of anything you change before you do so.

        Regards
