Damn right... Talking about RE4 is a pleasure, IMO, not a chore

I started this again last week and I've almost finished it again. I'm up to 5-3 now so it's almost over I'd say Chapter 5-2 is the best one in the game...it just leaves me stunned from beginning to end. It's been wonderful playing it again though. Even though I know what happens and where there's still enough surprises and shocks to keep me on my toes.

This is my FIFTH time through It still feels like an awesome game to me. I'll never get bored of it

I am currently going through the same scenario with DMC3... I have far too much love for Dante. Finished it twice and played most of the boss mission around a dozen times each, trying to perfect them, amazing fun.

For atmosphere there is little that can rival Resi 4... it is the reason I bought a cube and is def in my top 10 of all time. The first onslaught in the village, scurrying for cover and baracading the doors, fantastic.

Def gettin another playthrough once DMC3 firmly put to bed.

dont think its been mentioned but the el gigantes hate the flash grenades and you can get some quality destruction in the time it takes him to recover

          .
I'm the opposite I need to get back to DMC3 and finish it on the higher difficulty levels. But instead I'm playing RE4...again I was going to try it last week but I started RE4 instead.

Am currently progressing through Dante Must die mode and it is rock hard... requires total concentration and some insane skilz but is great fun... it is one of the deepest games I have played.

I started a Pro game on Resi 4 but left it near the end of the village areas. Should really go back and get Pro mode done... most of it will feel fresh again cause aint played it in so long

The first fight with El gigante has been a standout gaming moment for me this year, the way Resi 4 implements the boss fights really is amazing... my first thought when he burst onto the screen, and I am sure most will agree was, WHAT... THE... ****!!

In fact Resi 4 is endless series of moments like this... you dont think they can up the ante anymore, then you hear yourself saying those words again... We really are spoiled when games are as good as Resi 4 and DMC3

I said WTF more times during RE4 than every game I've played in recent years...combined

There's one of these moments every few minutes tbh. The end of every chapter is guaranteed to have at least one. 5.2's was EXCELLENT (the big chase scene ) and probably the coolest moment in the game tbh. BIG Spoilers -

The armour-plated truck hurtling towards you while you try and shoot it I loved it. That's a pure "holy ****" moment I still love the CG knife fight...so innovative and so clever. I don't think that's ever been done before tbh. I'm coming up to the fight with him and we both know how great that is. And then RIGHT after that is the war zone Talk about non-stop

The game just kicks ass, plain and simple

                Ah,

The beloved warzone... how I wanted to avenge the death of the pilot who had saved my life

its **** ME moments from start to finish. Never before has there been a game that just keeps getting better and giving you more to enjoy... its almost too much to control in one game

The integration of reactive button presses in the cut scenes and game moments is genius...

                the knife fight is extraordinary!!

Other popular terms I found myself saying when new **** appeared were... NO WAY... **** OFF... HOW THE **** AM I SUPPSOE TO BRING THIS BASTARD DOWN and my personal favourite... AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

That last one came at the hands of quite a few folk, especially

                the Regenerators

                ... solid stuff.

Aye, first time around they were right bastards and then (foolishly I guess) I managed to get two on me - one from the north, one from the south - and that was a "SON OF A!!!!!!111" moment. Truly.

                  What about the

                  Iron Maidens

                  also, they were kickass

lol that sounds all too familiar to me. I think the saying I used most was "No ****ing way!" "**** me!" and "Oh ****"

When you come back to the

church. You walk up the grass banking and you can see the dogs. I thought they were friendly and..."Oh ****!! The little ****er is ripping my throat out"

Out of the whole game that stands out as the funniest/scariest moment for me

Who didn't react exactly like that?

The way they laugh and psyche you out long before you see them genuinely creeped me out. Hell, they scare the **** out of me

Great tip! I used three on the second Giant. They give great oppertunity for destruction!

This time, 1x Boulder, 1x slash, 1x Shotgun and 1x slash.

I just cannot believe my little cube is pumping out these visuals!

9 hours in, and I'm trapped in a hut, with a very angry man, and some well posistioned petrol cans!

I'm trying not to do too much each evening, I don't want it to end!

Sniping from a ski lift............ You have to laugh!

What a great game. Being a HL2 fanboy, I just LOVE the short loading times! It's re-ignited my love for consoles.

Oh the ski lift bit was so sweet I loved that bit because I had the ingenious idea of standing next to the lift before I got on, and sniping everyone I could see Then when I got on the lift I only had to deal with about half as many villagers attacking me.

But, dude, the bit after where you're up to now kicks a whole new amount of ass. I won't say what happens, or even where, but trust me when I say it was a ****load of fun...and it only gets better from this point tbh

There is never a constant level of enjoyment in Resi 4... just when you are settling into your happiness it will go and introduce something else to make your smile bigger and increase the HOLY **** factor

Far too much groovy **** ahead Capcom... keep us posted so we can relive the dream, hehe.

That will be a pleasure. Being a noob I'll no doubt be asking for help!

Gonna be really breif! Quick break from Rezi!

                              OHHHHHHHH MYYYYYYYY GODDDDDDDDD!!!

Left the place in flames, manic car drivers, a BLOODY CASTLE! Tello me I'm going inside! I thought the visuals were ace, but I had NO IDEA it was going urban! It's like ICO on acid!!

The cannon! The flaming ball thingies!

                              GAMING.HEAVEN.

I'll report back if I get stuck. For now I would say the difficulty is Perfect.

                              Back to it then!
