Saturn Backups

Is it possible to make backups of PAL saturn games. I have a copy of nights here that I want to put away and not use, but still want to play it.

Is there anyway a cd copy will work. The disc reads in my pc.

which model of saturn do you have round or oval buttons?

you may be able to do the swap trick depending on which one you have.

There is also a mod chip which will work, but the ones at saturn-planet only work with 32pin chips (you have to open the console to have a look) - it requires only two wires to be soldered and should then play backups straight off the bat.

Don't think you can play backups on the oval ones with the swap tricks (does work for imports though).

So your looking at the 21pin ribbon cable CDR mod - have a look on saturn-planet for details of it - you have to make sure your machine is compatible as some use only 20 pin ribbons, it's possible there could be no way for you to play backups on your current machine.

please don't ask how to make isos - even if it is for backup purposes. making backups in the UK is illegal
