Okay, Logitech Z-5500's ordered
I've done some reading, and it seems like the quality of optical and coaxial is about the same, so it doesn't matter which I use, right?
The speakers come with wires for 6-channel direct link (using 3x 3.5mm phono cables I assume), which I gather is the best solution for PC usage. Back of sub has ports for this 6-channel direct, along with an optical and a coxial.
So I was proposing this setup -
Optical Switcher - http://www.tvcables.co.uk/cgi-bin/tvcables/SW001.html
PC - 6-channel direct (3x 3.5mm cables).
DVD - Coaxial.
PS2 - Optical.
XBox/360 - Optical.
GameCube - RCA (as that's all there is).
Looks about right. Unsure if I should use optical or coaxial for my DVD Player, as my player uses both. I can't find a disadvantage to using one over the other, unless someone can enlighten me.
Think I'm finally done!
