    Knackered Dreamcast disc?

Umm, this isn't a question as such, as I guess I already know the answer, but...

I won a copy of Street Fighter Zero 3 for the Dreamcast, but it's not loading up. The Sega logo comes up, then the disc drive makes a weird noise and it goes back to the initial Dreamcast logo you get when you switch the machine on.

It must be the game, since all my others boot up no problem, but there aren't any big scratches on it. In fact, it's in fairly respectable condition.

I just wondered if maybe this game had a weird pressing or something where some copies don't load on all machines, like In The Hunt for the Saturn.

It's a Japanese game on a Japanese system, by the way.

Are you using rgb? Only Zero 3 matching service runs thru it.

( i may have them the wrong way round, bit tipsy)

EDIT- i havent,Zero 3 is the one i have and it does the same.

Try loading it with a different video connector other than scart

Yeah, I'm using an RGB SCART cable. I'll dig out the one that came with the machine and try it with that. Cheers!

        EDIT:

It works now, thanks fellas 8)
