PAL Donkey Konga on NTSC-U GC

Has anyone tried to run using FreeLoader 1.06B?
Using YUV cable I got the blank screen?

Works fine for me through s-video. Not tried component.

Not tried it with 1.06B. I have Freeloader 1.06b and it didn't work with that.

However it did work with the version of Freeloader (which could be 1.06B) on the Action Replay I have, BUT YOU MUST USE THE REGION SELECT option.

All versions of Freeloader post 1.06B don't have this region select functionality but seem to work with PAL Donkey Konga fine (as my friend in the US has a very recent AR that doesn't allow you to choose the region and it works with it okay).

So basically... tried to manually select the EU instead of letting it auto detect.

by the way do you hold donw z button while loading? o_O

Keep pressing Z when the Freeloader screen appears but before the prompt to open the lid comes up.

BTW, is there any difference between the PAL and the US Donkey Konga? Which is the better version?

The song list. In general for both versions, the UK list has been better.
