Strange Issue

User has broadband and a router hub with 4 workstations attached. All of them could access www.gotomypc.com last night. Today only 2 of them can access this website. Hmmmmm.

Now apparently nothing has changed overnight. I checked the firewall on one machine and couldn't find a blocking for this site. The web browser just reports "Server not found".

Odd I think...Any ideas?

Tried pinging the address from those two pc's?

make sure they have a DHCP IP by ipconfig /all

if they need to get a new one ipconfig /renew

try pinging again

try resolving the name with nslookup

Ask him if he's running Peer Guardian - that blocks loads of web sites from view.
