Subida Montegranito Rallisport Challenge 2

Just got to this level on the 'Pro' challenge of Rallisport 2. Is it just me who needs to eat more carrots or does anyone else struggle to see the track ahead on this level?, its that dark and impossible to see i'm convinced theres a 'main beam' option for the lights i'm missing somewhere...

You tried turning the brightness on your TV up really high ? usually helps you see the track easier on "night time" driving games

I saw that option in the game menu as well and thought i'd give it a go...trouble is i don't think the strong sunlight is helping either at the moment, between the pitch black screen and reflections its no wonder i'm going off at every corner . I'll wait until its gone dark and have a couple more beers, then i can curse at the tv properly...
