xbox Live - Connection

I'm think of getting xbox live. I currently have a 512K broadband connection, should i upgrade to 1Mb or is 512K fine for online gaming.

512k is more than fine for xbl.
Dont expect to host too many games with above 8 players in though.
Stick to either joining other peoples games or setting your limit to 8 players.

If I remember correctly Codemasters released a game( think it was Toca ) and the front of the box said you need 1meg for certain things!

I have had 1meg for around 9months and it makes a big difference on my PC- so I guess XboxLive probably runs much better also!

Higher bandwidth really won't make much difference for gaming, as far as I know...
