PSX Memory card question

Just a quick question - will my PAL save game from FF7 work on the US NTSC verison of the game ???

ive just beat all weapons and maxed out my stats with my main squad but have had to give the game back to a mate so im thinking of picking up a US copy sometime in the near future, and i dont really want to have to go through all that traning again.

Don't know if it will work, but if it doesn't, and you have a way of transfering saves to your PC, there are several programs that will let you change the region of the save file. I found this one, I haven't personally tested it though.
