I think PCI Express only, and cost is going to be at least ?400 for the top end card - possibly ?450 upwards.Comment

How much would a half-decent SLI Mobo cost? I'm thinking about buying a reasonably priced SLI GFX card to begin, and then getting another when I get more money...

two 6800 gt's is the way to go until the next "BIG LEAP" in graphics technology, just make sure you have a minimum 3800+ amd 64 and even at that you'd probably want an overclock.
i have the asus nf4 sli deluxe, and its a great mobo.

Just saw some benchmarks for the 7800 to be honest i am not impressed at all 10-20fps extra for some games like doom 3 very little change for many other games like half life 2 defintely getting a x850 when it comes down in priceComment

Got custom pc mag today, had a feature on the 7800. In todays games offers very little increase if any in fact in many games X850 is faster but in future games and Chronicles of Ridduck on that ridiculous shader 2.0++ setting is up to 95% faster than an Ultra . Way of the future but not needed now especially at ?440 +Comment
