The difference between JPN/USA Bomberman DS?

Is there a difference between the JPN/USA versions of Bomberman DS?

Why does Play-Asia list the Japanese version as $10 more expensive than the soon-to-be-released USA version?

Apart from superior cover art, does the JPN version have something the USA doesn't? I thought the JPN releases get cheaper closer to English releases?

If theres no difference, I might as well wait a week and save myself 10 bucks.

Also, what is the language barrier like in the JPN version? If there is none so to speak, I may actually pick it up. The USA cover art is a disgusting traversty.

aka all the menus etc are in Japanese, he said there's very little English at all.

It's mainly the menus and options that are in Katakana, may as well wait for US version.
