Does a PCMCIA slot to USB adaptor exist ?

Basically I have wireless network card for laptop and want to use it in home PC also, can I get a PCMCIA slot to USB or PCMCIA card type reader ?

Found USB to PCMCIA and SD Card to PCMCIA etc on ebuyer and Dabs but not what I want.

    Thanks.

Not sure about USB, but you can get PCI adaptors so you can use PCMCIA cards on your PC.

There's a couple of different kinds, some are just PCI cards with a PCMCIA slot on, others are PCI cards which link up via cables to a unit on the front of your PC, mounted in a drive bay.

Or you could just buy a usb wireless adapter, I just bought a Belkin one for ?12.99 from Comet the other day for someone, can't see an adapter being any cheaper than that.

your right it is cheap, only reason I didn't want a PCI one (with aerial sticking out back) is the lack of space at back of my PC.

          Thanks.
