Good value graphics cards

I bought my PC over a year ago with no intention of playing any games. However, having recently started playing Guild Wars, I've changed my mind.

The graphics card bundled with the machine was a FX5200. Not the best by any stretch of the imagination, but it copes with Guild Wars very well.

I'd like to upgrade my card to allow me to cope to play other games (BF2 etc.) at a decent level. I can't really afford to spend any more than ?80-?100.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Next one up would be the 6600GT for a little extra. But there is minimal performance difference between them.

How much ram you got? BF2 really need 1gb.

I've got 512mb. An upgrade to 1gb was also on my mind.
As I currently have DDR memory, can I buy just buy another 512mb DDR?

I'm in a similar position to you, really wanna play battlefield, and unfortunately they seemed to have blown all support for older nvida cards

I decided on getting the 6600gt myself, found a local supplier that does them for ?105, and from what I ahve read on Tom's Hardware Guide, they seem like the card to go for if your looking for a decent low price card.
