    Second/Third Tier PS2 Software Essentials

So I'm after titles that are solid, quirky or just pure fun but somehow slipped under the radar due to not gaining triple AAA status, being released early in the machines lifespan, or not getting pushed to the hilt by ridiculously large amounts of marketing dollars $$$$$.

Games like Sky Gunner, Fantavision, Gitaroo Man, Sky Odyssey and so forth. Nice little gems that would fit snuggly in my collection and provide enjoyment and amusement yet not necessarily a "once in a lifetime videogame experience".

      Thanks Butch.

Heard of most of them I'm afraid and own about six of them already. Gradius V, Rez, Amplitude/Frequency, Katamari and Psyvariar are not exactly low key titles off the radar of the regular NTSC uk reader. I'm sort of looking for games maybe even lower than second tier maybe sort of 5/6 and 7 out of 10 games that could be described as above average but not good enough to reach the level of near essential play.

      Questions...

Did SOS get a PAL or US release and can anybody comment on Black Rose by Capcom?

Every heard of Legend of Kay ?

I think it fits the description "provide enjoyment and amusement yet not necessarily a "once in a lifetime videogame experience".
