Can anyone recomend a Win2003 message board

I have a rather complicated technocal query re FSMO roles in Server 2003. For some reason i got banned from Tek-tips when a work mate filled the boards up with porno spam (Cheers.....) can anyone reccomend somthing similar?

Sorry GT i only just saw your reply. What it was is that a network i inherited had FSMO roles configured for non existant servers. I managed to get around it using ntseduli or whatever its called

ntdsutil is your friend!

Though can destroy domains at the same time. I had to seize roles on my test domain recently, seems to still work.

I have heard some horror stories about it, buck luckily only after i went ahead and used it to seize the domain naming master role.

Having given a few networks thurough audits, i have become well aware of the ammount of cowboys currently making decent money setting up domains for people.

The common mistake for seizing roles is people putting the 'old' servers back online. It can bugger things up a bit, however usually can take a while. Hence most people don't realise until its too late.
