Using a Jap Dreamcast in the UK power problems

Hi, just brought my lovely dreamcast back from japan however i know that if i plug it in to the mains i am gonna fry it. Is there anyway using an old pal dreamcast to switch the power supplies over? If so how i dont wanna end up f*cking it up!! An i know a step down will set me back a fair few bob!

    Cheers

Yes its very easy, just take the dreamcasts apart carefully. Remove the top, unscrew the PSU from the Dreamcast, remove the cable from the PSU. Give the PSU a good tug to remove it. put in Japanese DC, plug cables in, screw back in, screw DC back together and there you have it a 240V Jap DC.

Just got myself a JAP system with a EU PSU fitted, and it works great.

Just to give a "second opinion"
