    Games Store in New York?

Hey all - I'm off to New York in a couple of weeks - is there a good shop where I can pick up all my favourite game related goodies?

Isn't there a big Ninty store in NY now, or is that somewhere else?

Yup, there is mate, it opened the day I left NY on a recent holiday, quite a spectacular song and dance was made to advertise it in the first day.

Anyway, if intereested, its in Rockerfella plaza if memory serves

There's also a decent indie shop in Chinatown, I'm sure sure it's mentioned in one of the threads MartyG listed above, can't remember its name.

Also an EB in the Rockerfeller centre.

          Njoy...

J & L Trading, sell all the import stuff as well as domestic, plus they havee some really cool retro titles too.
You need to go into Chinatown and tell the Taxi driver to take you towards Canal Street and Mott Street, he will know where that is. I think the game store is on Elizebeth street which is one street east from memory.
That is a great area anyway, well worth having a wander round for a morning.

Then if you walk back onto Broadway and head south towards the business district you will see all the cheap electrical stores, clothing stores etc.
Any 3 pairs of new Levis for $49!
Some DVD stores selling some class titles in the $5 section!
Although mid manhattan from 42nd and up is really nice, with some great shopping, South of Houtson is definitely my favourite.

Cheers mate. It's over a year before I go to NY again, but I know where I'll be spending most of my cash!
